AONB Management Plan PoliciesPolicies within the AONB Management Plan provide the basis for the consideration and comment of the AONB Partnership on changes that may affect the area and its conservation and enhancement. They are a guide for all with an interest or direct role in the management of the area, and in particular help to clarify key issues for those public bodies with a statutory duty to have regard to the purposes of the AONB when carrying out their work, developing policy or making decisions. Policies are listed under each of the themes of the Management Plan. There are three overall policy areas reflecting on three distinct functions of the Plan and work of the AONB Partnership - - Awareness
- Monitoring & Recording
- Conserving & Enhancing
